We are a thriving community working for humanity both this side of life and for the other side where our loved ones still reside with us. If you are new to Spiritualism then a very special welcome as your journey of personal discovery may well start here.

 What are we about?

At the heart of spiritualism is the belief that when we die, only our physical bodies return to the earth. Our mind and personality, that part that makes us human survives and we live on in the spirit world, where we learn and advance.

Our loved ones in the Spirit World have much the same needs as us. We all need to be loved and respected and made part of a family and so it is with those who have gone before us. Our relatives wish to let all who are this side of life know that they are well and aware of developments on this side and choose to communicate through people who have developed their mediumistic abilities to either see, hear or sense the communications.

There are a great many sceptics who claim this is impossible so our loved ones always try and give us evidence that they have survived. It’s the little things that help you to recognise the person who is speaking to you. There is no greater joy than knowing for certain that our relatives and friends have survived and are around us

What do we do?

A great deal of our time is spent  helping those who wish to develop awareness of self through meditation. We have regular classes covering spiritual healing, psychic/mediumistic ability and spiritual awareness. Progress through education is a major part of our philosophy. as is giving healing to the sick and comfort to those who are about to depart from the physical plane and those who will be left behind.

What happens at the Centre?

On Saturday evenings you can hear Speakers and Mediums from all over the country (and sometimes from abroad). We endeavour to invite those who are of a high calibre and experienced in their field. On occasion, we  invite people who are undergoing training to take part in our Service. This is an invaluable opportunity for them to experience working in the public arena with our members and visitors who are happy to support them.

About once a month, usually on a Tuesday evening,  we hold Evenings of Mediumship. These events  help to raise funds for the Centre’s upkeep and maintenance and are advertised locally and announced at our Services.

So, if you are an old hand or just curious, come along and see what we are about.

What we are not.

Whilst we uphold the 7 Principles of Spiritualism, we are not dogmatic and realise that every person follows their own path toward spirituality. We do not claim to have all the answers and recognise that everyone has something to contribute.

We have no wish to convert or coerce anyone into joining our movement. We simply inform, explain and offer friendship. Naturally we encourage you to attend events but your chosen spiritual path is up to you.
